I like the way this rolls. Deep rich sound, flows along with interesting highlights that brighten it and keep it warm and lovely. The way the harmony intermingles with the lead vocal is really nice. That horn lead in to the guitar solo is a stand out and the solo itself just accentuates that brilliant rolling effect I hear in this song. Beautiful!

Whoa..cool vibe and great production!  Love the way the vocals are mixed, fantastic guitar solo and very nice blend with the other instruments - superb!

Who is on vox?
Very strong performance - I really like the brass an slap-bass, guitar lead is the real show steal here though - fantastic tone.
Well worth a listen... or ten...

Wow great production...The composition is real good and the arrangement is very fluid..Great solo and guitar tone...My only grip would be the bass sound which for my taste would do nice with a warmer thicker presence..

cool percussion followed, by a nice groove. i love the vocal melody, and the vocal harmony... really beautiful. i'm gettin a reggae vibe of this as well, sweet guitar tone, real good solo! really good structure to this song aswell... well done!

Awesome arrangement and production. Nice "Jawaiian" feel with the instrumentation and vocals. Those island kine harmonies are sweet..

gene - i love the vox you're currently putting out there - so emotionally packed - really beautiful voice you should use more often (it's one of your best instruments). but then there's your lead guitar which is impossible to compare to anyone out there, and your keen sense of timing and composition. you have such widely won talents and seemingly put them all out here in this fine track - i'm starting to like this cut (as a true and through gene gebert tune). i picture you out on a beach some where in the dark with a couple of lanterns burning and a great breeze ein the hot night air - very cliche'd i've described - but it's all very romantic!

Whoa! Yep, definitely hooked from the start. Love the bass and when the vocals kick in I'm sold. What a feeling I get from this. The brass/lead gtr parts are perfect... Hell, This tune is awesome from start to end.

The keyboards remind me a little bit of Froggleggs, which is cool as I love that one. The vocal melody is absolutely gorgeous. It ebbs and flows with such emotion. Your guitar playing is - of course - fantastic. Great expressive solo there, Gene. Oh man, this is one of the best things I've ever heard you do!
